www.NoNags.com is a free software download site. NoNags tests and ranks thousands of handy software programs and makes virus free versions available for downloads. In addition to software programs, NoNags offers 13,000 fonts, free web site space, and images and more.

 

We use more than 30 software programs downloaded from NoNags including tools for backup, FTP, text editing, macro creation, special print jobs and more. Given that similar commercial tools cost an average of about $40 each, NoNags has saved us about $1200 per person over time. Use of the site is absolutely free. There is no advertising, and they don't redistribute your personal information. If you want to donate money to the site, a lifetime membership costs $59. Note that you must be a member to download directly from the NoNags web site. Non members will find links to the program author's download site or 3rd party download sites, but your on your own for virus protection and spam.

FTP Client	FileZilla (v 3.0.6)	An FTP client is a software program used to easily exchange large files or large numbers of files over the internet (simplified explanation). We use this as our FTP client.
Hard Drive Duplicator	EASUS Disk Copy (v 2.0)	Makes an exact copy of any hard drive (for use when a hard drive fails or to set up additional machines). We use this software regularly when we make backups in small offices.
Hard Disk Defragmenter	Auslogics Disk Defrag (v 1.5.20)	Routine defragging significantly extendsthe life of a PCs hard drive. Few people do it. Everyone should. The MS windows defrag program can take all night to run. This program can be triggered with a mouse click and run in a few minutes. We use it monthly on all our PCs, and recommend that our clients do to.
Reminder/Note	WinAlarm (v 1.2.0)	It's a pain in the neck to set reminders for little tasks in Outlook. Try this program instead. It allows you to set multiplealarms/reminderseasily.
